DStretch Processing Comparisons |
This is a comparison of 4 photos with different DStretch processing, using the JS Applet. The first two photos are just inside the entrance on the right wall and the 4th photo is on the left hand wall just before the low wall, 40 feet into the cave from the entrance. The right hand side of these three photos has been sprayed lightly with water to try to remove some of the yellow dust so that the wall detail could be seen more clearly. The 4th photo has a significant amount of dust in the air from visitors and some of this dust shows up in the processed photo as circular images. The third photo has what could be a historical mark near the center of the photo and the processing attempted to enhance this area relative to the surrounding wall graffiti. The left side of the chart below has a notation correlating to the DStretch setting of the processed file. |
